About Amit Kapoor

Amit Kapoor, president and co-founder of First Line Technology, LLC,  holds a BS and MS in computer science and a passion for problem solving. He and co-founder Randy Sakowitz created First Line Technology in order to provide first responders and military personnel with high-quality equipment so they can better serve those in need. The company gives Amit a platform to develop solutions to unique problems for customers like the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Department of Defense in the disaster preparedness and response arena.

Amit is also on the Advanced Textiles Products Board of the Industrial Fabrics Association International, a member of Mission Link, and was named one of the Washington, D.C. region’s 40 Under 40 by the Washington Business Journal. Amit is considered an industry expert and subject matter expert in textiles, dry decontamination, and disaster preparedness with several speaking and writing positions each year.
